Warning to anybody putting prop guards on,i put them on my new p3 took it out for three flights and was feeling confident that I didn't need them so when i took them off,the phone rings i answer it then return to my p3 after the call and put the wrong screws back in. The ones that come with the prop guards are longer by about 4 threads and I screwed them in which go right into the windings in the motors. NOT HAPPY with myself!! I stuffed 3 of the motors but have to by 4. So plz be aware i don't want this happening to anybody else.

Thanks for the posting however this has been a known issue for about 2 years now.

Craigo, after you put the longer screws in, how do you know the screw tips were hitting the winding ?

Hi kmcforce i could feel abit of resistance when screwing then in and new it wasnt right,it was only when I went to fire it up that a esc message came up on screen saying to restart or contact Dji.

I bought some but think I'll send them back after so many horror stories.
