Vision assistant gimble

Hi, tried to raise an old thread, not possible,

I want my camera to point straight down and go to almost horizontal , has anyone achieved this, what are the optimum servo settings on assistant to set to achieve this ?

Its not possible unless you use a third party gimbal mate

I was also looking at a way to get straight down shots, i took the front grommets out the camera and pulled the gimbal down around 50mm. if you can find a way to then reattach the dampers onto two extended poles coming from the original grommet holes you certainly can achieve straight down shots! unfortunately for this you have to give up the completely horizontal shot as theres not enough play in the servo or plastic camera housing. i think i've just talked myself into my next mod!

i found another way to get the straight down shot and still maintain full pitch of camera.
