Is there a setting on my P4 that I can go to to make sure I am recording video? I’ve flown the last couple of times and it would only take pics. It wouldn’t record video when I pushed the buttons. What am I doing wrong? Does formatting the SD card matter?

The SD cards can be problematic. Yes, try formatting in the camera. The requirements are Max Capacity: 128GB. Write speed ≥15MB/s, class 10 or UHS-1 rating required.
