P3 Firmware Upgrading the Controller firmware

I have installed 1.08 on the drone, but I am having problems upgrading the controller. I tried 1.8.08 the DGI GoApp, that didn't work, then tried it via the USB and that didn't work, I tried installing 1.3.2 and still nothing. The light on the controller just stays red, help

No. The app will prompt you to first download the update to your device then it will then prompt you to start the upload to the RC. Seemed to be very straight forward.
