updated firmware and he gimble

    Unsure of the correct forum section but I recently installed the h3 and updated firmware on the phantom. Tried to connect the controller and update it as well but getting a 'please connect the controller message' . USB connection sounds off as if it was connected but I continue to get that message.
    So I took it out for a test and now my flight range is significantly reduced to about 80' vertical and horizontal, goes into return home mode, however I can still adjust the camera tilt. Rookie here still learning..my apologies in advance for posting in the wrong section.

    Can you be more descriptive with your issue?

    If you're having any type of driver issue, I'd suggest going to control panel (Windows OS) and uninstalling all of the DJI software there. The driver can actually be uninstalled from this add/remove programs section.

    Reinstall the driver and the other DJI software and try connecting again.

    Are you using the RC Assistant when connecting the controller or the Phantom Assistant?
