Two black bars in display with Gopro3

I have a problem with viewing the monitor ... GoPro 3, the display unit is a 9-inch 16: 9 ratio, 800x600 ... When I receive the image through 600 Immersion two black bands, one above and one below appear. ... being that it is a display with a 16: 9 ratio should look good the 1080 resolution. By placing mode GoPro3 photography black bands disappear ...... anyone know how to get rid of the black bands ?? Thanks in advance

The letter box effect on your monitor is normal and has no effect on the video that the GoPro captures.
