Did you notice the green box on top of tom's thumb???? Sort of makes one wonder what's in the box and who put it there and why.

It is a summit registry. It is a weather proof box with a climbers log inside. They sign their names to prove they climbed to the top. This one must be bolted down somehow because one good storm and it would be off of there.
