Text or phone call when flying

Does the DJI app allow texts or worse yet phone calls to go through while flying? I've always wondered what would happen and fearing the worst I put my phone on airplane mode then just turn on the wifi. Would it cause any issues if you got a call? I would hope it ignores all incoming texts, emails, calls etc.

Text messages and phone calls will come through just like when using any other app on your mobile device. Fly in airplane mode if you want to suppress those alerts.
