Taking P4Pro to Japan

Hi there!

I am taking my P4P to Japan.

Onces there, a part from Compass and IMU calibration. Do you recommend to do any other test or modifications?

Also, any idea if I will be picking up as many GPSs as in Europe? Do I need to do any changes in order to get more?

You don't need to do anything with your compass or IMU.
The G in GPS stands for Global.
You'll find that the sats are orbiting the earth and provide global coverage.

I'll be returning to Japan next year (was there in 2017) and I'm thinking about bringing the P4P drone. I'll be interested to keep abreast on the latest regulatory news from Japan re drone flight.
My next trip centers around Hokkaido. But my wife has friends in Chiba (which is where we stayed part of last year) and we'll likely visit there again.
I've seen some drone footage flying through and around shrines and wondered how they got permission for that.
