I recently purchased a dji phantom 3 standard and I am having problems with it hovering with beginner mode turned off. With beginner mmode enabled, the drone adjusts to the wind and hovers in the same place however without the beginner mode, the wind takes it wherever it wants. The problem is that i want to fly further than the range given to me in the beginner mode and I also want the drone to hover in the same place which is found in beginner mode. Is there a way to enable this adjusting feature outside of beginner mode or can i increase the range and distance of befinner mode? Could someone please help me with this burning question.

To the best of my knowledge, all beginner mode does is restrict lateral and vertical distance.
What you describe sounds like your S1 switch is in ATTI mode.
