So the dealers Ive spoken to that say they are getting stock early next week are lying?

Sorry to say it but my experience ( like a lot of others here ) is that dealers are advertising early release/shipping dates to compete for folks like us wanting the Mavic as early as possible so we confirm order then the shipping date is put back ..........don't think I'll see mine until Mid - Nov ...............just saying

Thats the smart call. But I have three trips starting late October through to early December for which the Mavic would be perfect. If it was not for those I would be waiting before ordering.

Well I'm sorry to Say DJI usually does the opposite of that. The online third parties get last shipping! Because they have to turn it around too!

Like B&H on the P4... everyone was pre ordering... I had mine direct from DJI long before they started cancelling orders!

Probably misinformed; it's also almost impossible as they should have a tracking number by now then, and none of them have.

Have any of the authorized dealers received tracking info for the inbound shipment yet? I have one order in direct from DJI via amazon on the 27th and another with a local authorized seller (DroneNerds) - curious to see what happens this week.

After that order was finalized I ordered 3 extra batteries and 4 extra propellers. I didn't want to mix the orders up.
