PMedic,
I'm curious, you did basically what I'm planning on doing but in reverse. My question is.. did you open the case & tape off the vents on the inside? Or were you just careful when you painted it?

i just took the top piece off, and painted it. simple. no tape.

And has anyone painted their props? Or does that affect balanced too much?
read the post directly above yours.

But the answer is. Any weight will throw off the balance of the props.

I know from playing disc golf that there are a number of dyes that work on plastics well. Lots of guys like to dye designs on discs, it's not legal to paint them. I'm curious if that would work on the props.

Love it! reminds me of Airwolf!
What paint did you use?

im out of town right now (lake havasu!!), so i don't rememeber. it was a 2x (primer/paint) spray can from home depot. super easy application.

I'm guessing yes, since they so readily take on the green color from grass and leaves. :?

if you gotta have prop guards

Might as well have them stand out!!

Painted it carbon, then added a carbon cover sticker. Looks pretty slick. I think I'll do the bottom red, for hi-vis

My new (updated slightly) Livery - now got a painted Dayglow orange face with added white pin-strip instead of the stuck on paper one which was getting grubby and the rest inspired by Airwolf with Metallic dark grey...sad...I know!
