After my shell cracked, I decided to order a new one and paint it. Swapping over the components was a lot of work but I'm happy with the results. I chose to paint it burnt orange. I gave it a couple coats of rustoleum base with primer for plastic then a couple of coats of gloss clear. I think it turned out good. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Beautiful! But then again Orange, in any shade is my favorite color. Going back and forth between orange/carbon dip or spraying a solid color myself. BTW, LIVE the props! Stock dyed Dji or something else?

Your updated avatar looks a bit different than the previous one. Can't figure out if this one is hungry, mad, or BOTH!!

    That looks really sweet!

That many coats, though... that's a lot of added weight. I'd have to say it's worth it. :D

I think the weight is negligible. Plus I also think it's worth it.

Nice contrast in the sky I bet. Good job. Thinking of the same color myself. Hard to do?

The hardest part is disassembling the entire drone. Takes some time, but so worth it :)
