    What's everybody's suggestion for a screen recorder for iOS?

    Shou for non jail broken. Install instruction are on this forum, just search 'Shou'

    I've used Shou with success on my Air 2.

    also used shou on my mini 2. but had lag i think due to over heating. havent tryed since.

    but its a nice program

    is there anything else out there? I got it to work, but is looks a little rough but usable.

    Just wait until the HDMI board is out (soon) and then get a Game recorder on ebay for $50-100. record to SD card in 720P (output from controller is only 720P) via HDMI, and/or pass-thru to tv. Fits in a pocket, expensive ones have battery cheaper use usb @ 1amp, you can use a portable powerbank for 5 hours recording.
    If you got money to spare there is a tiny one with 5 hr battery, plug it is and slip in pocket, but its $295
