Repairing Antenna (Landing Gear Question)

It lays parallel with the panel, against the slot

Sorry to say your compass wires are destroyed, it will not work.

But yes that is how they fit

It includes everything you'll need, except the tool to open the shell and landing gear

Ok. After inserting the wire where you saidZ It snapped in easily. I took it outside, turned on, calibrated the compass and it all seemed fine. Unfortunately I wont be able to put the props on until Sunday and check if it is working.

There might be sand in one of the engines, should i take compressed air and shot it out?

Yes, while turning the shaft. And hopefully the compass does work, cause if it fails while far away that is a big problem!

If everything works fine (i did notice every second or two on my phone display when i tested it there was like this small little lag) should i keep flying? What would your advise be?

Replace the compass ASAP. I destroyed mine doing the same thing, and it failed. Good thing it was close. It is only $12 to replace, drone (???)

How difficult is it to install the compass. I need to open up the whole drone?

Yes, open the top shell part. Compass plugs into the main board. Easy to do once you get the halves parted. You'll need a plastic pc. to not damage the parts. Look on you tube for videos on it. This tool set makes it as easy as it can be.:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009MKGRQA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.

If you buy the landing gear set, the compass is already installed in the leg, just plug it in.: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Z2TQW42/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
