Removing zenmuse

How difficult is it to remove a zenmuse temporarily from a phantom if I didn't want to fly with it or camera.

Let's say I wanted to do mome crazy flying and was not interested in recording any video.

Can I remove it from the rubber holders and unplug a cable?

Or do I have to open the shell to remove it

Just unplug the cable and pop it off, that's all you need to do.
