Removing landing gear

Hello, does anybody have a clue where to put the compass if i choose to remove the landing skids? On the side of the battery holder on the same side as the compass is on the skids, seems ok since there is no cables on the inside on that side.

Any sugestions?

I would presume you are not going to run a camera - at least belly style..... si I would probablu make some sort of non-magnetic bracket off of one of the arms and try to keep the same/similar orientation of the compass.... and be sure to re-calibrate it before you fly.

If you are just sport flying a Phantom it would look pretty clean....
