Hello folks, I bought my P3P back when they canceled drone users from having to register.
I flew for a long while until winter hit, put up my drone until better weather.
Well Our president reinstated registering our drones.
No problem.
My question is will my drone take off without me registering it.
I pulled my drone out of my closet and set it up.
All things seem to be fine, and all I have to do is just go outside and fly.
In fact it has given me the go to take off.
Will I be able to go above 100ft without the registering.
Will it give me a warning that I need to register first, or is that something I will need to do anyway because of the law.

I just don’t want to go all the way to my spot and get stuck.

I guess I’m asking will dji stop me from flight.
Also how long is the wait time on me getting my number?
Dumb question, l know, just a little confused.
Thx..............RobertC

It's unknown how many are sold in the USA and since we comprise only about 5% of the world population, you can make your own estimation.

Thus, DJI is not concerned with FAA registration and will not disable your drone nor will there be altitude limits.

IIRC, I received my registration number immediately after registering on the FAA site.

Be sure it is the FAA site (FAADroneZone) or you'll pay more than the $5/3yrs. for someone to do it for you (and try to sell you decals).

The site allows for Part107 as well as Hobbyist registration so pay attention and use the appropriate link on the page.

FAA registering has nothing to do with it being able to be flown. Getting the reg number should be instant. I think mine was available once I paid the $5 fee.
