RC Radio Frequency

Hello,

I am a little late to this post but I have been trying to figure out what protocol the phantom 2 vision/vision+ uses? I assume that it is not DESST? Also, if possible could someone point me to documentation on whatever it uses if it open exists? Any help would be appreciated I am thinking about possibly doing a little tweaking.

Thanks in advance,
Joe

The P2s use DESST which analogous to Futaba's FASST so you can get whatever they publish or make available.
In fact- The P2 non-visions (2.4GHz) will bind to a Futaba FASST Tx.

Hey N017RW,
Thanks for the reply. From the previous posts I figured P2s used DESST. However, the drone I have is a PS2 vision+ so does it too also use DESST? I realize the rc frequency is 5GHz but I am now just trying to learn what protocols it uses.

Long term I am hoping I can create my own application to control the phantom and maybe do some other modifications but I have to learn the protocols first.

Thanks again,

Joe

Sorry I was unclear.

Yes, all the P2s use DESST and like you noted the V & V+ use 5.8Ghz for control.

DJI Phantom 3 Pro remote controller uses 2.4 GHz to 2.483 GHz
& 2.4GHz ISM For Video transmission
AND the Evolve Bamboo GT Skateboard uses 2.4GHz ISM band
Any chance they could conflict interfere with each other ?
