Quickrelease P2V+ (swap Vision+ for GoPro and still use the

Not sure. I can power mine on any time, before or after powering the phantom. I think its best turning the go pro on then the phantom to minimise strain on the H33D.

But to help you out...
I have 3.08 firmware on the non upgraded vision plus.
Latest firmware on Gopro 3+BE.
I use the rear hero port and NOT the side usb.
I don't use the interference board.
I run 640x480@15fps for FPV.

And be a little patient.
The gopro takes about 30 seconds to appear sometimes.
I should have mentioned I have the Gopro 4 black with the H4-3D and have not updated to 3.08. I might have not waited long enough will try again. Is the an advantage to not using the interference board?

Are you using the DronExpert Quick Release?

If not, can you tell me how you have everything setup? Some questions:

- Can you control gimbal with remote and vision app?
- Does it charge the GoPro?
- Plug & Play or soldering required?
- Able to take pictures & video from app?

How are you using the rear port? Is this a special cable?

I recommend you read the whole topic lots of info done by others.
All that's required is a $10 cable. Only thing you can"t do in the DJI app is take pictures or start and stop video.

There was 2 variants in the H33D.
1.0 had the rear port and is NOT compatible with the GoPro 4.
1.1 has the side USB port is compatible with GoPro 3 and 4.
Gopro 4 series has redesigned the rear port and changed some of the schematics.

1.1 is supplied with the extra side usb flex cable as they know to tear over time. The replacement part is about 6 USD.

Mine is a 1.1 retro fitted to 1.0. The part is $20 usd from ebay. I prefer this as I remove the SD card frequently.

I use the quick release. It works just fine - except the camera controls. I start rolling on the GoPro before starting up the Phantom. If you want to take photos, you have to set the GoPro to snap a picture every X number of seconds.
