quick photo at 300ft

    Even in blowing gusts up to 35mph on the ground, I managed to take the harley-copter up for a quick photo :)

    oh, and man, you need a lot of space to fly this baby in high winds :)
    Once you get it stopped, it will hold itself steady in one spot but once its moving ..... full reverse thrust is required to stop it :shock: .......... LOL but it was fun even though it was bloody cold.

    And I took the time to try some landings as well, never tipped over once :)

    Glad you enjoyed your bimble around. I took mine up for the 2nd and 3rd time (just about to go out for the 4th time in a minute). It too was pretty gusty. Did you notice that the rate of ascent was slower than in calmer air?

    No, I never notice regarding heading up the way but coming down it was noticeable slower.
