Question on better night time photography

Ah. P4. Maybe it Does have better image quality than the 3. I'd love to do some side by side comparisons.

ISO 200, can't remember the shutter speed but auto was useless. Just play around with the manual settings it's good fun and straight forward, any adjustments show up real time.

Took these in a variety of iso / shutter speeds (yeah, I know this is a P3 forum, but the same settings on my P3S produce similar results):

Last shot - DJI_0117 (which I think was the best) was 800 ISO / 100 shutter speed.

Playing around in auto with differing ISO settings / shutter speeds will find the right mix for the lighting at hand.

Hi

I've taken a liking to try to photograph a couple of installations lit up at night time...but I seem to keep getting a bit of blur...and/or the red lights of the phantom causing a haze on the pic.

If I use manual settings, there just isn't enough ambient light to merit a fast shutter speed without very high ISO.

Q1 Do 'good' photographers on here ALWAYS use manual mode or is the Phantom Pro's camera good enough to be relied on using in auto?

and Q2 Is there anything in particular that others do to improve photo quality in mildly windy conditions?

Thanks
Kris

All of these photos look like they were taken more than 30 minutes after dusk. What about FAA Part 107?

Not a commercial flight.

OP was requesting night settings. The only point of my putting the bird up to take them, as I am similarly intrigued about best settings. You'll also note altitude was 50 ft. in the pool area of my apt. complex.

No rules broken, here. ;-)
