Preferred method of traveling with P4P on airplanes?

Question for you guys. I have travelled with my P4 with a ProCraft Backpack and carried it on and no problems twice. But I'm a little afraid with that pack if they happen to not let me put it overhead and wanted me to check it. Where it gets thrown on top of whatever maybe. I have a wheeled Case Club hard case that I could check if need be. And of course bring batteries on board with me. But I'm wondering what most of you do in this case.

I think the trend is to get a Mavic Pro for that ...

Another thread has "hard case" ---> Checked (Batts in cabin) - as well as those who would never let it out of their sight.

I agree. I def need to pick me up one of those for trips just like this.

That said, the camera is not the same as P4P. Tradeoffs and all that (I suspect the MP2 will have the same camera as the current P4P).
