Power Fat Shark transmiter from phantom cable ....

My Fat shark goggles came in with a 25mw transmitter .... I am not quite sure how far I can go with 25mw but I was thinking
of powering the video transmitter from the hidden power cable that barely comes out next to the landing gear... is this a good idea ?

I will not bother with that fatshark single capacitor lipo power balancer filter accessory either ( I don't have one anyway ) ....

Yep that is fine to do. Image quality would be slightly better with the filter but not the end of the world not to have it. The TX is rated 6 - 13v so no issue powering directly (most people do this).
I put a screw in block onto the aux power and feed the TX from it (bottom right of pic):



Get yourself one of these: 5 pin Header plug. This will fit perfectly in the TX. Just make sure you get the wires correct!
