polar pro filter question

I had asked this in a earlier thread but never got a answer. I have the vivid set. How does one adjust the polarizer while Im in the air which cannot be done. Do I just aim the camera to the sky and turn the ring to get the darkest image before I take off?

Correct. It cannot be adjusted in the air. You can position the drone properly based on how you set the filter on the ground for best effect. You can plan your flight path around the characteristics, as well.
