I guess I don't know what the word pay to install means, but I'm going out of town in 24 hours!!
I just got my RC back, and it looks like this with zero instructions!!
Is there any videos to help me install this?
This is not my area of work, and know nothing about how to install this, and thought I paid to get it installed.. guess that was my misunderstanding. Any quick links to help me figure this rats nest out would be appreciated.

Give Jake a call at MaxxUAV I am sure he can talk you through it. I just received my remote back today from him and I was able to put everything together by looking at photos on their website. I purchased the ItElite Maxxrange

Are those two separate systems?like passive paddles and power boosted antenna.
Which normally would mean you're opening up the controller and replacing the original antennas with the new ones by disconnecting the original and routing the new wires through...but yours shows gold connectors already on the controller...?

I think this is all extras.

This is the problem I'm having, it didn't come with the hex shape screw, and lock nuts to complete the task. Gonna try finding them at Home Depot, or Loews. Since that's really my only option at this time of night..
Also I would call Jake, but don't have his number, and been emailing. Just frustrating because I'm flying to Daytona beach tomorrow, for the Daytona 500, then going to spend a week down in the Florida keys, and wanted this to be right and it's not.

I had a look at some photos of complete powered setups and that's what your 'delivery' looks like. As suggested above, either get in touch with Jake or look at their website and look at their photos. If you are running a boosted setup, I think those spare cables etc are required to power it up.

Do you have an ACE hardware store by you?

When it's stuff like this I find that they're the Go to!
Heck bring it with you to insure the right screw / hex etc.
Hard to believe they didn't include it in the kit.

Note: there is an air field next to the Daytona raceway ...but you'll get great shots / video in the Keys.

I actually founded what I needed at Home Depot.
I haven't skipped a head. Jake emailed me a list of instructions, and I'm just going straight off his info, in order. But when I get to where I think it's finished, I will take photos if I have anything left over..

For such a top notch unit, may I ask Maxx UAV, what is gong on here and what can be improved for future product delivery and instructions ?

I don't know, all I know is I haven't heard one bad thing about maxx uav, and that Jake is a top knotch guy, which i agree..
Accidents happen I know, my family owns several manufacturing companies.
But 1, the instructions are not very good for a semi newbie, there are nuts & bolts missing, the coax cables are too short, and there is no explanation on what some of these weird looking ends of a couple cable are.
In the pic it shows the blue cables with a L, where they criss cross them, mine don't have the L, and are so short, I can't even touch the tips together.
Jake has been doing his best by emailing me, even offered to refund the screws and locks I had to go get. but this needs to be discussed by phone. Everybody knows i have to catch a flight, and needed this ready to rock n roll.
I know i look, and sound stupid, but this has been a major let down, and I'm very unhappy.
Here are some pics, what of? I don't know.

You're frustration is perfectly understandable.
If you don't have it finished by Daytona message me and we'll get it going together.
I'm on your way, just south on i-95 as you head for the Keys.
I'm Melbourne, Brevard. county. Space coast.
Dying to know what your range will be so I can follow in your foot steps on this boosted set up.

Oh cool, how far are you from the casino in Hollywood? Our plans are arrive in Orlando, get the suv/van, enjoy our 1st 500, then Monday morning we are heading south to Hollywood for a bit of gambling. We've been to keywest 20+ times, but have never taken the trip by car.
So Tuesday we are going to checkout a couple beach homes in key largo, Wednesday cruise down to keywest checkout a couple more homes, then after that we plan on hanging out between whichever island we like the best, but slowly make the journey back to Orlando to fly back home that Friday.
I was really looking forward to key largo, but when I mention to our realtor, she said if you like Duvall street, and the bar scene, then I won't like key largo. I'm like really, how does key largo not have a night life? I was hoping I'd like it cause I'd be closer to Miami, and a bunch of golf courses, where when you are in keywest, your just so far away from everything.
But we will see. I'm cleaning all my cards, so I have plenty of room for video, and picture taking.
I'm just not getting these instructions, I don't understand why I have so many extra cables/cords.
Here are some pics of the leftovers, and where I hit a wall, and don't know what else is left.
Maybe somebody can tell me what is wrong.

Well I'm exhausted, and probably would cause more problems then good, so I'm giving it up for the night. I still have to finish packing.
Then wait for Jake, or somebody to let me know how far off I am, and if so, since I'm leaving so soon, if I can just take everything off, and just use the antennas that maxx uav adds with the kit.
They've already did the clean install, but I need to do my part now lol anyways here are some pics from all angles. Very tight awkward areas to tighten the cables.

Yes I sent my rc in, and paid the $100, not thinking it was just to replace the internal stuff.
Dummy me thinking I was getting everything installed. lol my bad.
Oh well there were a few other things that is setting me back, so I changed my flight to a late flight to Orlando. At least I'll have all Friday morning, and afternoon to get this figured out, and packed for a week. Hopefully, me and Jake can get together, and walk me thru this.
As long as I'm settled in my hotel, and at the track by Saturday by noon, I know about the Daytona speedway airport. I booked this last minute, so the only hotel they had near the track was the econolodge ocean front, which is 5 miles away from the track, heck if I have to drive 5 miles north to get in a drone safe fly zone, ain't not biggie.

It's clear that I need to update the instructions. There have been a few changes since we started offering kits and the instructions have become outdated, so I own that. I'm going to get updated pictures and instructions posted later today.

Jason, I can understand your frustration and I'll make it right. I just sent you my phone number, so if you run into anymore issues, please don't hesitate to call. Thanks for the honest feedback and not being too harsh :)
