Hi Guys,

I'm a newbie - my first flight went fine but now my phantom won't stop beeping and flashing when I plug in the battery (fully charged)

See video - https://vimeo.com/101875394

Can anyone help me - is it the phantom or the battery?

Thanks

H

It looks like your switches S1 & S2 are in down position (S1 being in failsafe/RTH mode) which would explain flashing & beeping. You might want to download the ops manual - http://www.dji.com/product/phantom/download

Hi EMCSQUAR,

Thanks for the reply - I've tried the S1 & S2 switches in every combination but I always get the constant flashing and beeping.

I've also been through the ops manual, tried the various suggestions and tried to run the assistant software too but I just get this constant flashing and beeping every time. I had no problems two days ago.

Any other thoughts?

(When the battery is charged the main light goes full green but of the four lights above it only the two on the left are on - I saw an online video saying this meant the battery has gone and I need a new one. Can anyone verify this?)

Help much appreciated

H

S1 or s2 switches wont cause any sort of beeping like that. BUT a severely low battery will. as well as if any plugs came lose inside on the naza.

If the 2 red lights you are referring to on the charger and the S1 S2 or S3 tiny leds coming on that means its trying to balance the cells that each of the tiny red leds indicates. You may see them turn off and then come back on again or also see the S3 one come on to if it trys to balance the 3rd cell. the 4th on wont come one tho being it is only a 3S battery.
