Hi all . so you saw my first effort with the finger led lights. but i stil have problems orientating the drone in the sky to point it in the right direction to manually take it back to me, so i went onto amazon and bought this

the part came the next day and i had some teething trouble getting the thing to go onto the drone vents.. firstly the soldered wires onto the two hole clip made it too big to go throught the side vent of the drone,ok so i got out my wee files and gently filed the solder down so it passed through with some but minimal effort.. so far so good.. then i found that the two hole clip that goes over the two flat pins in the battery bay was just too small... again being careful i managed to make the gaps bigger and wider with the needle file.. now its a good snug fit and works a treat, i also got some velco sticky backed to put on the drone and the components rather than the 3m sticky which wouldnt have come off easily.. unfortunatly its been raining hard here so no fly but im confident it will solve my issues.

the trickiest bit was to feed the clip through the vents and catch it on the other side fortunatly i got access to old medical forceps that i used to catch the wires..beware that the wires might bulge uot inside the drone, i made sure that they stayed inside the small compartment between the outside vent and the battery compartment..otherwise its possible that the battery might get stuck if it jams against the wires sitcking out
