Photo taking question.

When taking a photo with my P4P I hear the click of the camera through the Go 4 App but it takes a few seconds before the ring stops making circles. Can I move on to the next position before the circular motion stops or do I have to wait? I am taking photos for a pano and was just wondering if the photo is taken at the point of the click or when the circular motion stops.

You can move but you can't take another photo until that ring stops. It is saving the photo to the SD card.

If you are shooting raw images, they take a lot longer to write the the SD card.
Shooting jpg only is much faster and a better way to do big panoramas.

Yea I have a fast card and it helps in video as well. Started getting the message "slow writing" until I upgraded all my cards...

As long as your card is fast enough, the bottleneck isn't the card speed.
It's the speed at which the camera can write.

Agreed, but I have had card issues with panos, stalling mid-write. Guess that card wasn't fast enough!
