Ok the Vision / Phantom 2 Battery is 5200 mah at 320g wondering how this compares to dual 2700 mah (5400 mah) at 390g on a Phantom. Anyone compared the two ?

Both are 3S2P. The P2V battery is extremely impressive in its power to weight ratio - I have several 4400mah 3S2Ps for my Phantom and NONE of them are 320g (the lightest is 321g). I think they're pretty comparable though. A P2 + H3-2D will get 15-20 minutes on its battery (I haven't yet heard of anyone actually hitting 20 minutes but they do get close). My similarly equipped Phantom 1 gets 15-18 minutes on a 4400mah, and over 20 minutes on 5400 (haven't tried that config on 9" props yet because my battery door hasn't been modded to remove the 5400 easily).

What I'd really like to do is find a way to spoof the P2's smart battery circuitry and run homemade 5400s on it.

Lectron Pro 11.1 2700 is 195 g each at 35C don't know the "C" rating on the Vision/ 2 Battery.

EiGuano,

are you getting 15-18 min with a gimbal or is it just a go pro mount? I tried 2 phantom batteries on stock Phantom V1 with Zenmuse Gimbal and only got about 7-8 minutes, hardly any difference from 1 battery.

Thanks for the info

15-18 minutes is with Gimbal, gopro and fpv and all powered from the flight battery. Weight matters a lot more than most people think. What is your auw and how are you running your dual batteries? A lot of people end up spending 300+ grams to get a second 2200 in the air, which negates any benefit it would give.
