Phantom 4 Prop Balance Inconsistency

I purchased the DuBro balancing rod since I bought the DuBro 499 balancing system. That's not the one you referenced. I'm tempted to buy this one but feel like I'm spending too much on this preventative measure that may be a witch hunt.

I have already set my braking to a lower than default value as you also recommended. Most of my flying is done via Litchi missions. Not sure if braking setting takes affect at mission start and end when the bird heads to the first waypoint or stops at mission end.

I also don't fly below 40 degrees or on days where the wind is > 10 mph.

Considering I've taken these measures and still have encountered 2 stress cracks on the only 2 Phantoms I've owned, it makes me wonder if it's just bad luck or Litchi missions that could be a key factor.

On another note I also never store a battery in the P4 other than when flying. This is to prevent cracks around the battery slot.

Thanks to all with ideas and thoughts on this matter!

I appreciate the help!

This might be a stupid question, but what you do if the prop. is unbalanced?

You can balance the props by sanding them or attaching some kind of tape to add more weight on the light side. Check out this video for more details:
