Phantom 4 pro advice needed please.

Hi all.

Been flying my phantom 4 pro since they arrived on the scene and have now clocked up around 430 flights with mine with hardly any problems.

I use my drone mainly for stills photography and only thing that bugs me is constantly having to straighten the horizon through the remote control when picture taking.

I have not updated my drones firmware or dji go 4 since around April this year

Using the following firmware etc.

DJI Go 4 app 4.0.7
Remote 01.04.00.00
Aircraft 0.0.1.4
APP Database 00.00.01.04

I have been reluctant to upgrade the firmware after hearing of lots of drone flyers being locked out of areas with more no fly zones being added with recent dji firmware upgrades.

Are there any new features i am missing that are worth upgrading the firmware for and also are the stories of more no fly zones being introduced real?

What are your thoughts? should i upgrade or not?

The current P4P firmware is 1.04.0602, so it sounds like you already have the current firmware installed.

John: Perhaps I’m being naive, but aren’t no-fly zones designated for good reason?

And you can still fly there if you state your acceptance of responsibility for the results.
