Seriously, this is what you get with argtek mod if compared to cars.

Dji phantom's official website has been updated so that the fcc written 20 dBm, but if you searching there are many other sites that use the old data, fcc is 27 dBm.

Both are correct. They just represent different end points.
20dBi TX power + 7dBi internal antenna gives you 27 EIRP (EIRP is the key word here)

So we have conclusion here. Mod tx to 20 dbm (FCC) and use 7 dbi antenna to get max 27 EIRP.

Today i used scan feature on PapaTita program. Tried to fly and got over 2000m distance here in Finland. Totally crazy!

Might not make much difference but it looks like 1km away and 2km round trip. Anyway, good result.

if i'm not wrong your gimbal not horizontally flat.
look at the horizon, it tilted

try if calibrating gimbal helping

Hi PapaTita, any new updates on your great program?

Last week there was little update in script watchlog.sh and testing in menu option "Patch to FCC - RC and Drone" with scan channel (13), this results within city:

After 877m "lost connection" no history data stored but live view active again in 450m when RTH (test couple week ago screen off until restart).
There is an increase in range, though not many and perhaps interference was minimal (260m in CE mode).

OK mr total noobyness here. Can this range mod be done on a Phantom 3 advanced? Or is it just for the other P3 drones ( 4K, S & Pro ) ? Im a little confused...thanks in advance.
