Phantom 3 Professional- Garbage

I love my P3P - best gadget I have EVER bought but it hasn't been perfect. The 300A controller packed up so I had it replaced for a 300B. Now the board has gone on the camera so lightbridge doesn't work and it is now outside warranty even though I have only had about 30 flights due to our appalling weather.
The DJI Vision 2+ was pure junk! The P3P is in a different league.
I won't get rid of my P3P - don't really see what extra the P4 can offer but the new mavic looks seriously cool as a 2nd drone.

Ok... I have had a DJI Phantom 3 Professional for over a year now... I have to admit I did not use it for a few months. Being in Chicago the weather sucks in the winter. I took it out and upgraded their **** firmware and had a RC Signal Loss. I waited on hold for tech support for an hour only to get some Indian who tried basic solutions and then made it a point to get off the line with me since he couldn't fix the problem. Considering the money I spent on this POS I cut my losses and threw the whole thing in the garbage "literally" since that what it is. For all those out there... Save your money. Great concept but the company sucks. This would be my 3rd drone replacement. My first call to customer service a year a go, the girl actually said I "breaked" it by messing up the firmware update. Again.... Save your money.
I feel your pain. We all do. There have been times when I thought this thing won't fly and there it was. A step I forgot to do. One little thing I missed. You can't even send a simple e-mail to someone if you put the dot in the wrong spot. One LITTLE dot! So have a couple beers and come back to it later. Watch some vids, read up, watch more Asian twins porn, THEN come back to it. Ever try to rebuild an old school dirt bike carburetor in 110 degree heat? THAT my my friend.... is hard!

Can't say I agree with everything you say. Some of the new tech people that can do things with computers, I pads, cell phones, ect don't even know how to change a tire on a car. Have no idea what gas to put in said car...how many miles will you travel in one hour if you're going 60 mph...have no idea what their life is about without wearing a a watch that monitors their stats...give me a break. If it wasn't for the simple minded people you would be lost
Well... She is kinda Hot!

That post you should disregard her comments and feelings towards the PIII and DJ. They were amazing company and the product. PS I know the P4p is dope[emoji8]

Three blondes walking through the woods. One of the barn stops looks down and says well there's a set of deer tracks. The second one says well I think you're wrong they are deer tracks. The third one looks down and says you're both wrong there wolf tracks, and then the train hit them

That's how you operate a drone properly. It is your first DJI, doing some research before operating or upgrading a firmware is the way to go.
I had my phantom 3 4K for 4 days before it's first flight. Tutorials, research, familiarize what I actually had sitting in front of me. Worth the wait.

It's obvious some people on this thread are very protective of their beloved phantom. They failed to read that this would have been the 3rd time I have sent in the phantom for replacement. They tried to fix it but it was always a system failure. As for this problem the firmware installed correctly, but caused an RC failure. No one a DJI I have ever spoken to ever cared soooo.... done.
Heck, I'll even pay the shipping if you want to give it to me!!

I bet you are the same guy that has problems with his car, PC, and "smart" phone. I read your posts on all the time on auto and computer forums. The rest of us aren't having any problems at all. LMAO.

As I was leaving the woman took the disk out and stuck it to a filing cabinet with a magnet
Would that classify as a "light bulb moment?"..... smh!

The OP prompted me to come out of the depths of inactivity on this forum to do a LOL at this guy.. P3P is an amazing machine, and even now, you can get a P3P for pretty much half price of P4/P.. No knock on the P4/P, mind you. So for those of us without a money tree in the back yard and not professionals, the P3P is worth considering. I love my P3P and have decided to not upgrade this year and continue using it because it's still great.

To each his own, but yeah, I'm having fun over here with this "garbage". lol.

I have this app that shows you a geographic area of places that you can fly and also no-fly zones I respect the law

Same issue here--too close to Eglin AFB. That along with the potential of having to deal with someone who has lapped up the "Drones are evil" mantra keep me close to the ground.

On the OP's comments: I think he got the attention he wanted.

I should have known you get what you pay for. Really under 2k for a drone is a Dime store price when compared the others out there. I guess some people are impressed more than others.
