Phantom 3 antenna's on Phantom 2 legs?

I am doing this as I post. Anybody take the Phantom 3Pro/Adv landing leg antennas and put them on the Phantom 2? I was curious if the panel P3 bird antenna is directional to which side you use, flat or insert side(side with grooves.
Thanks!! Any easy way to get that black glue crap off to remove the antenna connection? Crap! broke the connection on the board! Lucky I had a spare.

What's your logic behind using the P3 2.4GHz receiving antennas on your P2??

Better antennas. Flat panel type as opposed to the P2 cylinder type. Both are 2.4g. Not talking about a vision here. I had some P3 antennas around from a mod I did on my P3. Anyhow I scrapped the idea after ruining the P2 receiver board trying to get the black hard sealing crap off. Lucky I had a "Dronefly" crash kit with parts laying around. Can't beat $50 for a control, motors, esc's, props etc!

That's not a module it's nothing more then plastic which encapsulates the antenna to the landing gear.
