Phantom 3 Advanced camera

Hi all, first post here.

I've had my Phantom a few weeks now, mainly for photography. I upload photos to websites and have been informed that the photos I am uploading are under 1 megapixel. I'm at a loss to explain this as I'm aware that the camera on my Phantom is 12 megapixel. I upload direct from the drone to my phone/iPad/laptop. I've attached one of my photos to this thread.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong here? Much appreciated.

I think you're confusing megapixels with megabytes ...your photo is a 12 megapixel photo, with a file size of something under 1 megabyte.

Hi thanks for the reply. No it's definitely megapixels. I am told by the websites I upload to that the photo in question is under 1 megapixel.

An uncropped image from the P3A sensor is 4000 by 3000 pixels (12 million).

If the uploads are less than 12Mpixel you are resizing in your post processing.

Yeah I remember digital cameras in the early 2000s, that picture isn't 1 mega pixel..... it would be much grainier.
