Just wondering how many of the P2V owners use NiMH rechargeable batteries in their controller. I purchased a slug of the Enloop Rechargeable NiMH Batteries on Amazon and I have a problem with the low voltage warning light coming on after only 15 minutes of use.

The Controller Optimum Input Voltage is 6V. I did some testing and found that the controllers are going into low battery warning at 4.5 Volts. That's not acceptable because if you use NiMH Batteries like I do, they're only 1.2 Volts at full charge, so 1.2 Volt X 4 batteries = 4.8 Volts on fresh NiMH Batteries.

When the voltage drops to 4.5 Volts, the warning sounds. This is happening to me in 15 minutes of flying at 25 degrees.
New AA Alkaline Batteries start out around 1.6 Volts (6.4 Volts for all 4) I don't like paying the price for Alkalines to throw out after 15 minutes of use, and the power curve stinks on alkalines.
Any ideas out there?

Always use Eneloops on mine. Works perfectly. It sounds like you have a defective controller or battery.
