Good day.
I am new on this forum.
I crashed my P2 V+ (V1) at the end of last year.
I am now rebuilding my phantom in several steps.
I have come very far but the last step is keeping me awake at nights.
It would be fantastic if one of you veterans can give me a golden hint.
Let me give you as short as possible the steps I took.
Phantom crashed against building with one of the four rotors.
It pulled back instead of levelling. No balance.
Shell was dented, so one motor was not straight up anymore.
So I took of the props.
After the shock I started my Phantom carefully.
At first there was a compass error and some problems with the led's
But after the first attempt:
- Full red led error.
After opening up I observed the following:
- motherboard was missing the compass connector and the tiny DJI battery cable that makes sure you use the DJI brand. They broke of by the crash
- some led's broke of from one controller
- one cable was torn in two
I bought the following parts:
- new motherboard
- new cable
- new controller (V1 version)
- new shell
After a very careful "operation" with all the new parts and with good soldering I connected the P2 to the PC assistant. No errors!!! I was very glad.
I did a advanced calibration just to make sure.
I also calibrated the transmitter first with rc assistent and later with assistent 2 in basic tab. All OK.
On a wide field outside I did a GPS calibration.
All led's fine and I did a test without the props.
Everything worked!!! including gimble, cam and FPV. YES!!
I did the first test without props.
All looked great.
Time for the real first fly test.
Before ascending the P2 pulled to the backside in a second (the side of the crash)
very strange squeeky sound when props came to a stop.
Than I thought that there was still something wrong with one of the motors. (One of the motors were it hit the building had a small dent).
- So new motor soldered on.
But no difference at all.
Still pulling to the side of the crash (to the backside)
- 4 new props out of the plastic, no difference
I do not know what to do anymore.
Can someone please give my some new ideas?
Thank you very much.
I would really love to fly my P2 V+ again.
Best regards.
