Hi all,
Urgent help required here.
I have a Phantom 1 which I upgraded with an HD-2D gimbal and Fat Shark downlink.
I am selling it as I now have an Inspire 1 and an Aeronavics Skyjib 8.
Just at the moment of sale (the buyer was standing next to me) I discover the Phantom has a big problem with either the compass, the GPS or both. The Phantom was last flown in February, it flew perfectly and it has never been crashed hard.
On power up I just get a slow flashing orange light which the manual says is the IMU warm up signal. Well that never goes away no matter how long it's left. The aircraft will not go into compass calibration mode (never had a problem with that before) but it will fly in attitude mode.
It has been upgraded to the latest firmware and an advanced IMU calibration has been done even though the NAZA assistant said it wasn't required.
In the Naza assistant the boxes where the parameters for the compass should be are all reading zero. See below.

Also, after the upgrade, the section which should contain the hardware and firmware information for the GPS is also blank. It's as if the GPS unit and compass don't exist.

I should point out that the problem was discovered before this latest round of updates. They were done to try to solve the issue but nothing has worked.
I am really struggling to understand how this could have happened while my Phantom was sitting on a desk in my office for the last four weeks.
Any suggestions hugely appreciated.
Thanks
