P4 wont recognize 2 full batteries?

My P4 says no batttery with 2 fully charged batttereies,it has old firmware V02.00.0600,cant update because I get told battery the battery has to be at least 50% and fails,have it apart now any ideas which new boards to try?any ohter ideas?its been sitting for over a year,the drone repair by me wants 150.00 just to look at it,I repaired laptops and tvs so I am verry mechanically inclined,thanks.Any ideas would be greatly apreciated,thanks.

Discharge the batteries to like 5 percent and then recharge them.

Tried that once,didn't work ,batteries worked in friends drone
