P4 max average range, stock

Hi guys, wanting to do a shot of a cliff island and it's about 0.9km off the coast and just wondering what the expected range is for an unmodded p4

DJI gives a range of 5 Km in the specs. With the stock setup, many report less than that, but some have exceeded it.

If there are no obstructions or local interference, 1 Km should be easily obtainable. I have no problems reaching that distance.

Per the Phantom 4 specs, the expected range is 3.1 miles (FCC) or 2.2 miles (CE).

I have flown 1.2 miles with no obstructions with nothing more than the cheap antenna reflectors.
Make sure your turn wifi off. Seems to make a big difference for me.

That's right.. In Europe the power is reduced giving an expected range of 3.5 Km. (I forgot about that). But still, the OP should have no trouble reaching the .9 Km he's after.
