If you look inside the battery compartment you can see the 2.4ghz wifi antennas on either side of battery compartment. They are held in by 3m tape and a bead of silicone. I just removed the silicone and gently pulled the antenna out with needle nose pliers. Did this to keep from removing the mainboard.
