P3 P "lost video" RTH

Flying today and suddenly color screen went B&W and froze and pop up said lost video and offered return to home. I landed it and replaced battey and restarted everything, took off again and few minutes into flight with P3 50 feet above me same error. Whats going on?

Check that your remote controller antennas are positioned like this:

I have had it say weak video signal when its 1/2 mile away...but the signal always comes back. This time the screen turned B&W and froze the video screen until I landed it and shut it down and turned it back on.

Would simple antenna placement freeze video indefinably like this?

Next time the screen goes black and white and freezes try this before landing and turning everything off - if recording video at the time hit the stop button. Then change camera mode from video to still or vice versa. That usually fixes mine. Keep on flying .

On the rare occasion it doesn't fix it mid flight going back to the main menu screen and then back into camera view does it.

If you get out of the app and back to main screen while it flying.....? That ok to do?
I just picture, I hit main menu and it just goes crazy and crashes......guess not

Do you have iPad or Samsung connected? Could be your tablet or phone. I had the same issues with Samsung Tablet. When I switched to iPad mini - no issues what so ever.

Is it ok if the tip of my antennas are pointing and almost touching my tablet like this?
(Sorry this picture is at a wired angle, I had to take it with my laptop sence I needed my tablet on the controller.)

#4 is fine as long as you're aiming the remote controller as shown in the video.
