P3 controller firmware

Is the firmware for the aircraft the same as for the controller? I have updated the P3 with no problem along with the batteries.

No. The current remote controller firmware version is 1.8.

If I go to the latest firmware download it looks like the latest is v1.10.90. Is that the correct one for my controller?

No. You should update your firmware from DJI GO.

OK, on my iPad I see I have 1.8 installed. So, I'm OK. Thanks
