P2vision + and P3 Standard controller

I couldn't figure out how to find DJI Tim. I got on A dji chat and simply asked if I bought a P3S, would a controller from a P2 Vision + work...answer was no.
Then I sent another email to dji service in CA, they apologized profusely and emailed a shipping label to send the P2 TX back to them, whether or not there is a CORRECT P3S TX coming to me before they get the vision+ one remains to be seen...
