I have a batt with 90 charge cycles that dies fast. Is there any way to refresh the battery life, return for some type of credit somewhere or is it destined for the recycle bin?

Sorry, but lipos at this point are no longer serviceable in a reliable fashion. That said, some get up to 200 cycles of their packs. If a fully charged pack no longer gives minimum of ten plus minutes, its life span should be over(shelved) for safety of aircraft.
Running battery below 20%, repeatably, use of imp[er chargers, flying in conditions that repeatably push battery internal temp over 130 degrees Fahrenheit reduce battery capacity.

The best you can do is sell it on eBay and be forthcoming about its condition.
