    Can not wait for this to come out! This will save hours of image stabilising in after effects!

    Looks great but I'm still not comfortable sending my HERO3 up into the sky with it's protective casing.

    just imagine what legit aerial filmmakers must feel like when they send up their DSLR's and Red camera's

    I can understand the hesitation tho, especially when flying over water.

    But the casings do weigh a fair amount and add bulk.

    I switched to going bare when I got my gimbal (which didn't allow the waterproof case),. but I had also switched to FPV so a waterproof case was kind of useless when I cut the hole it in for the FPV cable.

    The bare Hero does have some protection from the Phantom and landing legs as well tho, so unless you fly in to a bush or drop 30ft from the air, it's somewhat protected.
