Obstacle avoidance on P4 Pro not working

I have a question about my obstacle avoidance sensors? I’ve noticed that I get readings on the front and rear but I don’t on the sides. I’ve done several tests to try to get them to read and have not had any luck. I’m just hoping someone can explain give me some ideas on what to do

You need to be in beginner mode or tripod mode.
