Anyone know how to increase the tilt/travel of the camera? Down is OK but would love to get more of a straight on view of the horizon when flying high.

Your not us much to work with here. How about post a video of what the gimbal is or isn't doing. If it's working correctly from a horizontal position it should rotate all the way down. Which controller do you have NDJ6 or the older DJ6?

The camera angle should move between vertical (straight ahead) and horizontal (straight down) on the original RC there is a gimbal lever underneath in the lower right. On the V2 newer controller the gimbal wheel is in the top left corner. Both these options control the travel if the gimbal through 90 degrees

Phantom Assist > Advanced > Gimbal > set the horizontal to +30. This will make the camera see more of the horizon and props.

Have you taken the time to calibrate X1 in both RC controller software as well as in the P2 software. That has to be done in order to give you full control of tilting of the camera and leave gimbal configuration at it's default settings of 50, 0 and 0
