Non "Pro" Mavic

Just to kill time until that magic box shows up at my door, if DJI comes out with a non-Pro version, what do you think they will take out of the Pro version? I'm thinking 1080p instead of 4K, maybe no sport mode and/or tripod mode. Any thoughts? And how inexpensive could they make it?

I'm thinking it'll also be a WiFi only aircraft.

From what I've seen, it's the same aircraft, only without the controller. And you can buy it later if you wish.

AlexSP, that's still a Mavic Pro though. The OP is wondering if DJI is going to release another version of the Mavic.

There are two FCC filings, Mavic & Mavic Pro.

I did not review either to see what differences could be determined, just that such exists.

If it were just the omission of a controller, that would not seem to justify a separate filing IMO.
